Second Annual Chocolate Festival Fund Raiser - Nov 6, 2011 at the Old Courthouse
    A huge success again - lots of entries, lots of fun and lots of chocolate!
If you missed this one - mark your calendar for the 3rd annual event - October 2012!

Basic Rules:

• May use any form of Chocolate in making the item - do not submit the entire recipe but do list what chocolate was used and how                                  (eg: dark chocolate, grated or semi-sweet chocolate melted, etc.)
• Make two of each item you enter - one will be for judging and then cut for tasting and one will be auctioned off
• Please make sure your items are on dishes that DO NOT have to be returned
• Seven categories to enter - Cakes, Candies & Fudge, Cheesecakes, Cookies, Pies & Tarts, Squares and Miscellaneous
• Please - Let us know when you bring your items in if they need to be refrigerated or not
• judging based on Presentation, Taste and Use of Chocolate in recipe
• $5.00 for each entry submitted - this will be deducted from the entry fee after judging is completed

Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts monthly meetings:

2nd Wednesday of every month - 298 McGill Road - @ 7:30pm - most meetings are approximately 1 1/2 hours in length
                                                If you can spare 90 minutes a month for about 10 months of the year and then about 4 hours a
                                                month for the other 2 - you could become a part of the "Arts" in Kamloops, helping all children
                                                appreciate the arts and develop self-esteem and respect for themselves and others.
                                                Join us and see what you can do to better your community!

The first meeting of the2011-2012 festival year is September 7th @ 7:30pm - join us to help make the 2012 another great festival year!

Alternating meeting times did not increase our volunteer base and has actually made it impossible for some of the reps to attend.
So, we will be having our meetings on the Second Wednesdays of each month at 7:30pm.

 The Kamloops Festival of the Performing Art 2012 Festival will commence on February 26, 2012

The Festival office will be open from February 25th  until March 17th, 2012 at the Accent Inns - phone 778-921-1930
Spring Break  is March 19th - March 23rd 2012

The Dance portion of the Festival will be from March 11th - March 17th inclusive.

The Festival is run entirely by volunteers - if you wish to donate a few hours of your time , please contact any of the festival committees and spend some time helping the festival while you enjoy 2-3 hours of entertainment by Kamloops performers.
