SPECIAL THANKS
The Kamloops Festival of the Performing Arts wishes to thank the following donors for their generous gifts of service
To all Advertisers, our wonderful volunteers and especially the participants, parents, and teachers who all help to make the festival a success -
THANK YOU!!!
ATTENTION
PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND FRIENDS:
Your children learn: "the commitment to practice, the opportunity to participate and the passion to perform" - as they are preparing for and attending the Kamloops festival each year - help us keep this growing in Kamloops.
In order to continue staging the festival year after year, we need VOLUNTEERS to help plan throughout the year, and to help stage the event itself. We need people who are committed to the festival idea to help us maintain the energy level necessary to keep the festival alive and current!! At present we have need for: - A Publicity Rep - to get ads into the local newspapers in a timely fashion to let the community know of our upcoming events and festivals. - A Marketing Rep to assist in fund raising to enable the festival to give better scholarships to our participants. If you are interested in any of these positions and have about 3-5 hours per month to donate to our festival, please contact us as we would love to hear from you. We also need people who will be cashiers, act as secretary to the adjudicators and supervise halls, as well as assisting in the office at the time of the festival. Can you devote one or more sessions (about 3 hours) to your festival??
Please call: Helen Newmarch @ 250-372-1800, or Sue Reedman @ 250-372-9339 The festival committee and the participants will be grateful for your time.
